Beaded Doll Workshop – Pt 2 – January 24th

Part 1 – Students will learn how to make armature free standing using led weights and polymer clay for the feet. Hands will be sculpted with polymer clay as well. Students will start shaping the body of the doll. After the body is shaped, a covering of fabric is sewn over the body to complete the dolls form.
Part 2 – Head, feet, and hands will be attached and then the fun begins! Beading the body! Using different stitches a costume is designed. Fabric, old jewelry, or anything you would like can be incorporated into your costume.
Workshop fee for both days: $90.00
Kits $60.00: includes instruction, armature, face, polymer clay, led weights, foam, cloth, glue, and thread – kit fee paid directly to instructor on the first day of the workshop. Does not include seed beads, needles, focals, etc…

Time: 11:00 to 3:00 pm both days – total 8 hours
